Updated for the 2026 season
Ask for a date on the ice and we'll hold your spot for seven days while you check the forecast, line up a ride, and dig out your auger. Nothing is charged during that window — it's just time to get your gear and your crew sorted before you commit.
Your spot is locked in once the deposit reaches us. The rest of the fee is due thirty days before the trip, or immediately if you book closer to opening day. Spots on popular lakes in our fishing community fill fast once word gets out that the perch and pike are biting, so early deposits matter.
Move your date once for free, up to twenty-one days before the trip, to any open date left in the same season. A second change depends on another angler filling your original spot — our guides can offer tips on which weeks tend to have better ice and stronger bite windows if you're flexible.
Every outing needs a minimum number of anglers to make the trip worthwhile, since perch and pike move together in schools under the ice. If we can't reach that number we'll let you know twenty-one days ahead, and you can choose a new date, a different lake, or a full refund — no questions asked.
Proper cold-weather gear and basic ice safety awareness on local waters are required to join any outing. Tell us about anything that affects your mobility, stamina, or diet — it helps your guide plan the day, pick the right shelter, and choose a stretch of ice that suits you. It never changes whether you're welcome in the community.
Guiding, permits, shared ice safety gear, portable shelters, and auger time on local waters for every day listed on the trip. Travel to the lake, personal cold-weather clothing, and insurance are not included — pack accordingly and check our seasonal tips before you head out.
